Dear Valued Customers and Partners: We have exciting news to share with you. On April 16, 2009, Unify announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire AXS-One, a leading provider of integrated content archiving solutions. The acquisition is subject to shareholder approval from both companies. Until the deal closes, it will be business as usual as Unify and AXS-One will continue to operate independently. The addition of AXS-One is expected to accelerate Unify’s growth and extend our core portfolio of application development, data management and migration solutions with the addition of integrated content archiving technology. AXS-One is a leader in integrated content archiving market with more than 400 customers worldwide, approximately 64 employees and total revenues of $13.4 million for 2008, a 12 percent increase over the prior fiscal year. We believe this transaction advances our strategy to acquire superior technology companies who are market leaders in their space that would benefit from Unify’s technology innovation, financial strength and stability, and extensive customer base and distribution channels. We believe our customers and partners will benefit from a combined Unify and AXS-One, as it creates a stronger, more stable and scalable technology partner with whom to do business. We remain dedicated to driving the product investments, innovation and world-class customer support customers and partners have come to expect. Thank you for your continued support of Unify. Each of you, as our customer and partner has played a significant role in keeping Unify strong, stable and growing. Sincerely, Todd E. Wille Read more about the acquisition.
