Unify Reports Record Results for Q2
Unify announced another stellar quarter, posting triple digit software, services and total revenue growth with operating income of nearly $1 million. The Company’s financial performance is a reflection of meeting customer needs for strong technology products and providing outstanding customer service. "We are laser focused on providing the best product and service value available to our customers," commented Unify CEO Todd Wille. "We experienced strong growth in our database and development software business. We added 63 new customers, bringing the total new customers for the first half of our fiscal year to 142. We had nearly 350 attendees at our developer conferences compared to 135 at the conferences last year, validating the growing interest we are experiencing for our database and development products from both brand new customers as well as existing customers. In addition, we launched two new products during the quarter, SQLBase 11 and Team Developer 5.1, which are driving new customer acquisition and further penetration into our customer base, as well as sustaining a solid maintenance stream."

How to Protect Your Database SQLBase Treasury encrypts data traffic between client and server to protect from network sniffing attacks. In addition SQLBase protects from password guessing attacks and DOS attacks by incrementing login retry intervals. Every unsuccessful attempt made to access the data through a false password is timed and the time is then doubled on the next attempt. Programs that try a large number of passwords are blocked.
SQLBase Treasury is built on the heritage of SQLBase 11, one of the leading small footprint, self managing embedded databases deployed ISVs and corporate end users throughout the world. The combination of zero maintenance, reliability, embeddablity and encryption make SQLBase Treasury ideal as a relational data store for low-security, high-risk environments.
