Our CeBIT theme this year: Unify software solutions for modernizing business-critical applications!

We will showcase our entire product portfolio to give you answers to following questions:

  • What options, strategies and concepts are available to modernize legacy systems such as Lotus Notes to a .NET or Java environment and how you can bring SOA, EAI and Web services to your organization?
  • How can you rapidly develop SOA applications and integrate them into your existing enterprise?
  • How to create Rich Internet, Web 2.0-based Applications (RIA) with modern AJAX-technology?
  • What options exist to develop cost-effective business-critical applications?
  • Are you aware of the administration-free, full feature-set databases, that can be integrated seamlessly into applications and which also offer the highest level of data security?

If you are faced with any of the challenges listed above, or would like to discuss any associated topics, we will be delighted to meet you personally on our CeBIT stand in Hall 3, D 22 to demonstrate our solutions. Pop in to see us for a ‘CeBIT’ strong coffee.

New Report: IDC Spotlight on Unify
IDC Analyst Sandy Rogers, wrote the report entitled "Transitioning Legacy Applications into More Valuable Assets." It addresses how successful and agile enterprise customers must adjust to changing business demands, and examines how some enterprise customers approach the migration of legacy and proprietary mission-critical applications to open web and standards-based environments such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Also discussed are the compelling reasons that companies are targeting application migration and modernization projects today and Unify's role in enabling the strategic conversions of Lotus Notes applications with its migration offering, Composer for Lotus Notes.

Migrate Lotus Notes Applications with Composer
Composer for Lotus Notes is Unify’s software plus services solution for migrating Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft or Java platforms. Whether an organization faces a mandate to move off of Lotus Notes or wants to move a subset of Notes applications to a new platform to consolidate, integrate or collaborate, Composer delivers a complete, like-for-like migration. Composer decomposes and re-assembles the Notes applicaitons into Web services without disruption to end users, enabling organizations to adopt newer platforms and speed the internal rate of return.

Unify has partnered with Microsoft, having recently showcased Composer, Microsoft Edition in an international, 16 city road show to educate Microsoft partners and the world’s largest IT customers about the Microsoft Notes Transition Framework, an initiative to help transition customers from a Notes-centric computing environment to the Microsoft .NET and SharePoint environment.
