rewrite an ACCELL/SQL application for the Web, ACCELL/Web quickly and easily provides a
graphical interface to existing business applications and makes them viewable in a
browser anytime, anywhere. Additionally, ACCELL/Web uses the same, proven ACCELL/SQL
application code, significantly reducing application maintenance costs and increasing
developer productivity.
ACCELL/Web provides the ability to develop and deploy Web applications based on
existing ACCELL/SQL applications with only minor modifications to the original application

for the Web environment without a rewrite of the application, as the new ACCELL/
Web applications share the same proven ACCELL/SQL applications already used in

ACCELL IDS
ACCELL IDS (Integrated Development System) is a UNIX-based application development
system designed to maximize developer productivity through a tightly integrated
combination of 4GL technologies. ACCELL/IDS is specifically designed for use with the
Unify DataServer ELS database.
With ACCELL/IDS, developers can efficiently solve programming tasks using:

- Unify DataServer ELS
Developers can create application prototypes quickly with the ACCELL/IDS visual application
generator, and efficiently convert them into business applications without having
to start from the beginning of the application development process. With the application
generator, up to 80 percent of most business applications can be completed using
a simple fill-in-the-blanks approach. ACCELL/IDS features event-driven 4GL that allows developers to program-by-exception, writing code only for custom functions not built with the application generator. The 4GL of ACCELL/IDS reduces programming time significantly compared to conventional 3GLS.
