Leverage the unique power of Team Developer 6.0 to deploy your .NET applications to both, Desktop and Browser from exactly the same source code. Protect your existing investments into Team Developer applications; easily move your applications to .NET Desktop or .NET Browser opening new cloud deployment and business options for you.

Team Developer 6.0 introduces a powerful unique technology that allows developers to simply change the .NET target build type from Desktop to WPF Browser applications without the need to touch the source of the application, just click a radio button with the desired build type and recompile your application for the Web.

Other .NET IDEs and languages require extensive recoding work for an application to be changed from a Desktop application to a WPF Browser application. Team Developer 6.0 eliminates that work, giving organizations the flexibility to quickly adapt to new market requirements, such as browser based applications, without the need of large rewrite investments.

The application images below show one and the same application, being deployed to .NET WPF Desktop, .NET WPF Browser and Desktop.

  • The image above shows the application compiled to .NET WPF Desktop format. WPF applications offer a visual customization technology based on the XAML User Interface description language. Using XAML all visual aspects of an application can be customized including the usage of user defined themes and custom animations.
  • This image reflects the same application as above, running as a .NET WPF Browser application. The application runs in an IE browser, offering the same GUI as for Desktop apps, including the same XAML customization technology as WPF Desktop applications.
  • Once again the same app as above, in this case it is running as a Desktop Desktop application. Existing Team Developer customers can continue to use the TD Desktop mode if they do not need native .NET applications. Team Developer Desktop applications can call .NET class libraries to take advantage of existing .NET functionality.
  • This sample app includes a .NET WPF Control to access Google Maps.
  • Team Developer 6.0 provides built-in WPF Gauges that allow creating very nice looking dashboards for example to display latest Sales figures.
