Unify Q for ISVs

Unify provides a special Embedded Deployment Pack (EDP) for ISVs that want to deploy their applications bundled with Unify Q. The Q EDP allows ISVs to create combined installers for applications including Q. The end user will only see one installation being executed to install the application including Q.

Unify Q in Read-Only Mode

Upon installation of Q, administrators can set Unify Q to read-only mode, disallowing changes to databases Q has access to. Users using the read-only version of Unify Q can only view data but cannot change data or add data to the databases they have access to.

Unify Q in Power User Mode

Advanced users get all the power they need to get their complex data management tasks done, from powerful Queries, Reports, data import and export to full database catalog access.

Unify Q for Quest Users

Users that have been using the 16 bit Quest product can change to Unify Q and reuse their Queries, Reports and SQL script files. Unify Q automatically imports these files and saves them in the new Q/Report Builder format.
