Table Activity

Edit data content using the powerful and easy to use Q Table Activity. Update data that cannot be edited by application screens. Unload data to Excel, XML, or HTML files. Import data into new or existing database tables. Create new tables from complex queries. Load data from Oracle or SQL Server databases into a local SQLBase database. Create SQL script files for complex aggregation queries or data update procedures.

Query and Report Activity

Build queries to see the latest quarterly revenue numbers, monitor the success of online campaigns, or see the performance of your online store. Data stored in your organization’s databases can be queried and turned into useful information by Unify Q. Query results can be exported into a variety of formats or turned into stunning reports.

From the Q ribbon, just select Report Preview and a sample report design will be generated. Switch to Report Design mode to change the design to meet your needs. The report can be printed or saved to PDF format and shared with colleagues and customers.

SQL Activity

For more advanced SQL users, Q SQL activity can be used to write and execute powerful SQL scripts files. Quest SQL activity files can be imported and processed in the Unify Q SQL Activity. This activity is not available in the read-only version of Unify Q. The image below shows the Unify Q SQL Activity. The activity ribbon can be used to format the input and output window, print the output, execute commands and scripts and switch on the timer that outputs the execution time of SQL commands.
