Composer Partner Program

Unify’s Composer Migration Alliance Partner Program is designed for ultimate flexibility for meeting your needs. Our program offerings allow you to deliver all or part of the customer’s required solution. Composer Alliance partners can realize software licensing, application migration service delivery and extension/enhancement services revenue on applications moved using Composer products.

There are two types of Partner Programs available:

Composer Franchise Partner
Partners can resell, as well as perform services for all aspects of delivering the end-to-end migration of Lotus Notes applications using the Composer toolset. Composer Franchise Partners receive license to resell and/or use the Composer Application Converter for migrating applications. The Composer Franchise Partner is required to complete the Composer Certification Program (CCP) conducted by Unify. A standard licensing schedule is available. Licensing is on a per Notes database model.

Composer Certified Partner
Partners can both resell Composer licenses and deliver last mile services. Certified partners perform much of the initial application discovery and analysis, and then last mile services including TODOs, integration, implementation and Unit testing. Certified Partners are not licensed to use the Composer Application Converter Composer and are required to complete the Composer Certification Program.

Composer Notes has been used to successfully migrate hundreds of business critical Notes applications to production ready status.

  • A Composer Like-for-Like migration eliminates a great deal of risk for both customers and partners, as scope of the project is already well defined by the existing application and UI.
  • In migrations performed using Composer, as much as 95% of the application business logic is migrated. Solution Providers realize higher margins by automating some of the code translation, better resource utilization, and extending applications after migration to add new capabilities and features.
  • Composer generally allows for much faster migrations, with less business impact for the customer, and instant user adoption.
