Composer Evaluation Starter Program
Validate the Composer technology for migrating Lotus Notes applications.
Under the Composer Evaluation Starter Program, you’ll be able to migrate the User Interface, Document Data,
Security and Business Logic of a Lotus Notes application, and access the application for 45 days. If you
want to implement the migrated application into production, it’s as easy as upgrading to a production
license.
The Evaluation Starter is designed for SIs and organizations researching the feasibility and viability of
migrating their Notes applications to the Microsoft environments. ASP.NET developers and
or Lotus Notes developers moving to ASP.NET development with knowledge of C#, can perform the evaluation
and migration.
Whether an organization has one or dozens of applications to transition off the Notes platform, the
Evaluation Starter will provide you with the information you need to perform the migration.
The Composer Evaluation Starter includes the Composer tools, access to support and the documentation to ensure
a successful migration.

For the Evaluation License, Unify offers support via an online Support System, including access to migration
specialists to assist with any questions during the migration and evaluation process. Each Evaluation License
provides support for 1 named user.
Any Restrictions?
- Application access is set to 45 days from migration date.
- The Composer Framework component source code is not provided.
- The migration currently supports Notes databases versions 5, 6 and 7.
