Unify Recognized as an “Enterprise Trusted Advisor” by IT Professionals in Study Conducted by Nemertes Research
Unify ranked in top three among all vendors
Unify, formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications, has been recognized as an “Enterprise Trusted Advisor” by IT professionals, according to an annual industry-wide study conducted by Nemertes Research. Unify was ranked third out of an elite list of only 12 companies that were selected as trusted advisors out of the 150 surveyed by IT decision-makers and influencers, according to Nemertes.
Seventy four percent (74.7%) of the IT leaders said they consider both the companies and individuals as trusted advisors (vs. just the company or just individuals).
Unify in particular earned strong ratings for expertise, credibility and character. One Unify customer in the study said the company is “a great collaborator in strategic planning and has an understanding of my company’s needs.”
“Enterprise Trusted Advisors have the skills, characteristics, and branding to establish extremely valuable partnerships with their customers,” says Robin Gareiss, executive vice president and founder of Nemertes Research. “IT leaders rely heavily on this elite group of providers to help them leverage technology to advance their businesses.”

“We’re very honored to have been selected. We seek to form close, collaborative relations-hips with our customers to help them transform their communication and collaboration and amplify the effort of their employees,” said Chris Hummel, chief commercial officer and president, North America, for Unify. “In today’s competitive landscape, we believe our ability to provide innovative communications solutions as well as new ideas and expertise tailored to an individual customer’s needs is fundamental to our success.”
The annual Nemertes Enterprise Trusted Advisor program provides insight based on nearly 1,100 interviews and surveys from IT decision-makers and influencers about their relations-hips with technology vendors and service providers. The report addresses the characteristics and expectations of “trusted advisors,” as rated by the IT professionals.
“IT leaders don't even develop a strategy without reviewing with [a Trusted Advisor] first, or having them at the table helping to develop it,” Nemertes wrote.
