Unify’s Circuit enhances Deutsche Telekom’s ‘Managed Workplace’ portfolio
Circuit, the innovative collaboration-cloud service provided by Unify, has been added to the Managed Workplace portfolio of Deutsche Telekom. As a result, this service for mobile communications and collaboration is now available in the cloud to small and midsized enterprises.
The ground-breaking Circuit platform revolutionizes mobile collaboration and communication, bringing together high-quality voice, video chat, real-time document editing and management, and file sharing into a single view, across an entire team. As part of their joint cloud strategy, Unify and Deutsche Telekom will make Circuit available to additional customer segments during the coming year. All cloud services are based in the legal jurisdiction of Germany, and all data are stored in Germany.
Dirk Backofen, the Director of Portfolio Management, Presales and Marketing at Telekom Deutschland GmbH, said: "We have maintained a good partnership with Unify for many years now. With Circuit, we bring real-time communications into our managed workplace and continue to expand our market leadership as a service provider in this area. The joint service for small and midsized enterprises will be available from Deutsche Telekom starting on December 17, 2015. This is just the beginning. In the future, all sizes and types of companies will profit from cloud services made in Germany."
Klaus Stöckert, the Managing Director of Unify, added: "You simply cannot think of business today without thinking of cloud computing, including the business done by small and midsized enterprises. This is also the case for cutting-edge communications and collaboration solutions. The partnership with Telekom represents an important step in our effort to establish Circuit as the go to business-collaboration tool in the software as a service market."
